I have finally moved my blog to http://cottoncourtney.com ! I will no longer be updating here, but rather all updates and a merge of my two blogs will occur at my site.
Thank you for reading!

I wouldn’t say I’ve been c
rack addicted to WoW since Nov. 24, 2004. I also wouldn’t say that two years before it’s release I was pining over it while playing Legends (or Dark Ages), Dark Ages of Camelot, International Ragnarok Online (iRO), Lineage II, and various other tragedies of my past. Not that they are necessarily bad so much that they just are not as .. good.
A little bit about Me.
I am an actual female. Yes, I do play WoW and a variety of other games. I am not a male. Why must I claim this? In game, I play a female character. I just assumed most people would assume that I am a female first, but this does not happen. As I am running around and meeting various persons, I am frequently referred to as, “dude, man, guy, etc…” because the assumption is that I must be a guy cross-dressing. Of course, when I correct this I get the following expressions, “Oh, sorry, o_O NO WAY, Really? Are you sure?” or my favorite, “No you’re not [followed by arguing]!”
Females can play WoW, too.
A little bit about my main Character & gameplay.
I play on a PvP server called Burning Blade. It was the first PvP server on WoW. It’s that old school, ungh. Ethabelle is her name and being a rogue is her game. Yes, I play a rogue. Why? Rogues do it from behind, but more importantly, the Horde to Alliance ratio is 3:1 and to keep my sanity intact, I needed a character that could go unnoticed. At least until I can twink out my other characters so that I can match the other “new” characters on the server. See, I recently swtiched to BB because I started my first Alliance character. I actually was on Whisperwind which is a PvE for awhile and then switched to Demon Soul where I have always been Horde. So I built myself up there, but realize Demon Soul was a semi-crappy server with a terrible, terrible battlegroup and thus I decided to move to a server I had friends on and create the dreaded enemy: the Alliance.
Right now she’s level 76 and exploring the vast regions of Northrend.

O___O" B> New Pants

I iz kill you nao.

U failz!
This includes a many counts with Arthas the ‘Lich King’ and some really awesome cinematic features after you complete certain quests. For instance: the Wrathgate where you see Bolvar get PWNT in Dragonblight is probably one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. Not to mention the line of quests which follow it that include invading the Undercity with the King of Stormwind and the Lady of Theramore, facing off against Thrall and Lady Sylvanas. It’s a whole new dynamic to the game and I hope WoW keeps incorporating them into any future expansions.
Plus, I noticed in Wrath of the Lich King the quests have become a bit more involved which also makes it a bit more dynamic. Traveling is a bit less painful and when required it’s a bit more tolerable.
Riding in Canoes is super fun. Noteably, riding around in the Howling Fjord is super fun. I must say; the zones in Wrath are way cool. I thought the Outlands were pretty suck, to be honest. Save for Nagrand which reminds me of The Lion King and thus makes me happy. It’s really the only place in the Outlands I can stand. However, the zones in Northrend, are amazing. There is a bit more complexity to them because the environment “affects” the quest. You have whales, penguins, and sharks in the water. You have a giant turtle that is being run by a carrot, or .. some other thing on a fishing pole, but either way, it’s adorable. You have “Wulrus People” and different environments inside the environment. It’s just massive and everything about it is just fun and way more tolerable. I’ll take Dragonblight, Howling Fjord, and Grizzly Hills over any of the Outland maps, any day.
Past that there is not really much to say. I’m just a level 76 sprinting for 80 and blowing off homework and class to do it. Not really; but in my dreams it happens, should I ever actually be sleeping. To be honest, I don’t know what is the biggest killer of sleep; WoW or College. I get about 4 hours of sleep a day it seems and then a 10 hour pass out on the weekends. Proof is in the fact that it’s 5:17 AM and I have class at 9:30am. Odear.
Summation: WoW is the best MMORPG ever and girls play WoW.
agreed on BC v LK zones… BC zones (aside from zangar and nagrand for me) were just plain depressing IMO.
Welcome to the blogosphere
~(a fellow) rogue chick
Woah, you’re a female. Prove it!
On a side note, see you at work later.
I’ll prove it at work later!
